Basic sewing machine knowledge opens up a world of possibilities. I like how I can buy a couple of men's shirts at Goodwill for $1 each and turn them into dresses, or if something I like is too big and not too complicated, I can just take it in here and there. Or how it now doesn't take me the length of a movie to add lining to a skirt. MAGIC.

My sister graduated from college on Saturday... :( Good god are we a depressing family.
